A talented singer-songwriter with an unusual link to Weston will be making her debut performance in the town on Saturday.
Kathryn Williams has 13 studio albums under her belt, as well as a Mercury Music Prize nomination to her name back in 2000, and her work has been described by the BBC as ‘elegant, charming and quietly profoud’.
Weston music lovers will probably be most familiar with Williams’ work through TV show The Café – the comedy was filmed in and around Weston, and Williams provided its theme tune.
This Saturday, she will be performing at Loves Café in West Street, with support from local favourite Alex Lipinski.
She is likely to be performing songs from throughout her career, including some from her latest album Resonator.
Doors will open at 7.30pm, music begins at 8pm, and Williams is due to perform at 9pm.
Tickets cost £9, and are available from www.lovesweston.co.uk or by calling 01934 645672.
