SOPRANO Lesley Garrett will share behind-the-scenes stories from her career during a visit to The Playhouse in Weston-super-Mare.

Garrett made her debut as a professional singer in 1979, and has been performing across the world ever since.

She has taken centre stage in operas and concerts, as well as in the musicals Carousel and The Sound Of Music.

However, Garrett was also taken out of her comfort zone when she danced alongside Anton du Beke on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, as well as airing her views on Loose Women.

She will delight Playhouse audiences with an evening of songs, anecdotes and reminiscences.

An Audience With Lesley Garrett will take place at The Playhouse on November 25 at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £24, are available from the box office on 01934 645544. Alternatively you can book online by logging onto www.theplayhouse.co.uk
The Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse to offer three pairs of tickets to the show.

The competition will close at 10am on November 6. Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final. By entering the competition you also agree to be contacted by Archant.
