A WESTON venue will be opening its doors for an exciting double header of live music this weekend.

Loves Café in West Street will be hosting performances from two diverse performers – but both free gigs promise a night to remember.

Tomorrow (Friday), Swindon-based Alice Offley will be showcasing her original material.

Described as ‘a breath of fresh air’, Alice is a masterful pianist and beautiful solo vocalist, who cites her influences as varying from classical to grunge, ‘and anything with emotion’.

The following night, South Wales musician Rob Lear will be making his Weston debut at the same venue.

His original folk melodies are described as ‘beautiful and beguiling’, and include a taste of his forthcoming debut album.

Loves will open its doors to tapas diners at 7pm on both nights, with music set to begin at around 9pm. Entry is free.
