Joyful tunes from films and musicals will be brought to life by two choirs this month.

The Lyrica Singers and the Sing Out Loud Choir will perform songs from decades of silver screen flicks and toe-tapping stage shows, starting with the 1920s and running through to the present day.

Lyrica are a well-known professional group who have graced the halls of London’s Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury Abbey.

Sing Out Loud are a popular local choir – which hosts a number of charity concerts – and are directed by Lyrica singer Elizabeth Glen.

Accompanied by Sing Out Loud, the concert will raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.

The charity concert will be at St Andrew’s Church, in Church Drive, at 7.30pm on Friday.

Tickets, priced £7.50, are available from 01934 832283 or from liz@lyrica.co.uk
