MOTOWN fans will be able to dance to their favourite tracks at a Grand Pier concert next month.

The Axis Soul & Motown Band will play at the Weston venue on September 21.

They have been performing for more than 25 years and in the late 1980s toured Switzerland, among other countries, and made numerous TV appearances.

The band features the smooth vocals of Norman Housan and an exciting new female vocalist, Ify, who is originally from Nigeria.

Axis’ show is packed with soul and Motown classics of the 1960s, disco hits from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, plus a selection of songs by modern artists including Cee Lo Green, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and many more.

The doors open at 8pm and tickets are £7.50. This is an advanced ticket price for sales via the outlets on the Grand Pier. Online prices may involve a booking administration fee.
