Martha Wainwright to dazzle in Bristol this month

A folk-rock songbird hopes to bring the house down on the Bristol stop of her UK tour.

Martha Wainwright will be travelling across the pond in January to launch her new album Goodnight City.

The Canadian-born star will perform some of her biggest hits, including Factory, Far Away and Bleeding All Over You, as well as her latest single Around The Bend.

The songstress has released four studio albums since she launched her career in 1996 and has performed alongside big name bands Propellerheads and Snow Patrol.

Martha also lent her vocals to Snow Patrols’ hit song Set The Fire To The Third Bar which reached number 18 in the UK singles chart and featured in the 2010 box office hit Dear John.

Martha Wainwright will be at St George’s, in Great George Street, Bristol, at 7.30pm on January 25.
