Masterful ensemble to showcase skill in Churchill

A masterful musical ensemble will showcase their skills at a North Somerset church next month.

Gesualdo Six, led by musical director Owain Park, will perform at Churchill’s St John the Baptist Church, in Church Lane, on February 24 from 7.30-9.30pm.

The vocal consort specialises in performing music written more than 
500 years ago in the renaissance period.

But the group says its Churchill performance will ‘bridge the divide’ between music which is hundreds of years old and more modern tunes, highlighting parallels despite centuries between their production.

Gesualdo Six and Owain Park will also link up with students from Churchill Academy at the concert, which is being presented by Churchill Music, to share their wisdom.
