WEDMORE Theatre Club and Take Art’s latest production will bring a night of gypsy swing music to the village tomorrow night (Fri).

Moscow Drug Club will entertain the audience with cabaret style gypsy music from the 1930s, 1940s and the Parisian songwriters of the 1950s.

Combining their original material with songs from artists such as Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and Bertold Brecht, Moscow Drug Club will provide an intoxicating and intimate musical experience.

With guitars, double bass, violin and accordion, all topped off with superb vocals, the production aims to bring a night of lively entertainment to brighten up the dark winter’s night.

Moscow Drug Club will perform at the village hall, in Cheddar Road, at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £9 which includes snacks, are available from The Paper Shop in Church Street or from Liz McDonnell on 01934 712649.
