THE popular sessions of Jazz At The Orange continue in May when the Panama Jazz Kings make a return visit.

Based in North Devon, The Panama Jazz Kings were formed in 1978 and

play their own unmistakable lively style of New Orleans Jazz and have, over the years, established a good reputation in the South West as well as nationally, appearing in jazz clubs and at jazz festivals throughout Europe.

New Orleans masters and he is joined in the front line by multi-instrumentalist

Steve Graham on trumpet and trombonist Tom Wittingham.

The rhythm section will be the very experienced Malcolm Hurrell on banjo Len Mills on double bass and Mike Pike on drums.

The group will be playing at jazz night at The Prince of Orange Inn in Yatton at 8pm on May 18.

Tickets, priced £7.50 or £8.50 on the door, are available from 01934 527197.
