Based in North Devon, The Panama Jazz Kings were formed in 1978 and play their own unmistakable lively style of New Orleans Jazz and have, over the years, established a good reputation in the South West as well as nationally, appearing in jazz clubs and at jazz festivals throughout Europe. Founder member Gordon Hunt is a fine clarinettist in the style of the old New Orleans masters and he is joined in the front line by multi-instrumentalist Steve Graham on trumpet and trombonist Tom Wittingham. The rhythm section will be the very experienced Malcolm Hurrell on banjo Len Mills on double bass and Mike Pike on drums.
