AWARD-WINNING folk guitarist Ewan McLennan will perform songs from his latest album at an intimate Bristol show later this month.

McLennan is renowned for his passionate songs, which incorporate themes of social justice, and won a BBC Radio Two Horizon award for his earlier work.

Despite having three critically acclaimed albums under his belt, McLennan’s latest album Stories Still Untold has been widely heralded as his best work yet.

Ewan McLennan will be at the Downend Folk Club, in Beckspool Road, at 7.30pm on October 16.

Tickets, priced £9 in advance or £10 on the door, are available online only via the Downend Folk Club website.
