R&B superstar Ne-Yo to perform in Bristol

An award-winning R&B singer will take to the stage in Bristol later this year.

Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Smith, is an American singer, songwriter and producer.

He first rose to prominence in 2004, after writing Let Me Love You for singer Mario.

The singer has since had worldwide success, releasing seven albums, including his most recent release Good Man.

The 37-year-old star has since gone on to create several memorable UK number ones, such as So Sick, Closer and Beautiful Monster.

Ne-Yo has collaborated with some of the biggest names in show business, including Rihanna, Beyonce, Ciara, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.

He will be supported by award-winning Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist Diamond Platnumz.

Ne-Yo will be at Colston Hall, in Colston Street, at 7pm on September 21.
