Weston-super-Mare church to host pianist concert

A gifted pianist will perform at a Weston-super-Mare church later this year.

Richard Lennox will be at Clarence Park Baptist Church in Walliscote Road on October 12, with shows starting at 3.30pm and 7pm.

The concert, titled A Treasure Trove Of Operettas And Musicals, will feature classic pieces from shows including Fiddler On The Roof, Me And My Girl, Easter Parade and Die Fledermaus.

If I Were A Rich Man, Lambeth Walk, Sunrise Sunset and Love Changes Everything are all songs which will be played at the two shows.

Guest soloists such as Emma Hickey, Peter Lewis, Zoe Maitland and Marcus Evans will perform.

Tickets, priced £9-10, are available by calling 01934 623694, or from Food Den in West Street, Hadleys at Number One Restaurant in Boulevard, Weston Super Frames in Locking Road, Muffins Tea Rooms in Worle High Street and Masquerade in Orchard Street.
