Rock star to perform Weston gig

AN UP-AND-COMING teenage artist is performing in Weston with a host of other acts from the town.

John Lennon McCullagh is a 16-year-old artist who takes inspiration from Bob Dylan and can play the guitar and harmonica.

He will be performing songs from his new album called North South Divide.

In order to cater for his younger fans, he will be holding a matinee performance for under-18s at noon.

McCallagh will be supported by two Weston artists – Joe Beddington and Laurie McMahon.

The evening act will be supported by Towns and Some Villains, comprising of members all born in Weston, at 7.30pm.

Special guest DJ for the evening will be Paul Gallagher, the older brother of Oasis stars Noel and Liam.

The gig will be taking place on Saturday at Carnabys Sports Bar in North Street.
