‘WARM and somehow familiar, but still fresh and exciting’ – one reviewer’s take on Allo Darlin’, who are heading to Bristol next month.
The London-based four-piece are riding high after the release of their second album Europe, and are renowned for delivering joyous, effervescent and fun-filled shows.
Led by ukulele-toting Australian songbird Elizabeth Morris and guitar melodist Paul Rain, Allo Darlin’ will offer fans a set packed with perfectly-crafted pop tunes.
New single Northern Lights – written about a New Year’s Eve in Sweden – conjures images of wintry Scandinavia imbued with a breath of sunshine, and its positive reviews have helped add to a fan base.
Indeed, the band’s fiercely loyal followers have seen the new tour step up into bigger venues, and their date at Bristol’s Fleece is sure to be packed full of revellers singing along to every gorgeous word which tumbles from Morris’ mouth.
All Darlin’ will be in Bristol on September 4. Tickets, priced £8.50, are available from www.ticketweb.co.uk
