MILLION-SELLING British pop band Scouting For Girls will be kicking off their UK tour with a performance in Bristol.

The trio, which includes childhood friends from London Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse and Peter Ellard, will be entertaining crowds with their catchy lyrics and upbeat tunes from all three of their albums.

The band will release their third album The Light Between Us on September 3, which will come after the first single Summertime In The City on Sunday.

The London boys will return as one of the biggest pop bands around, with more than two million record sales, four Brit Award nominations, four top 10 singles and an Ivor Novello nomination.

Roy said: “We’re so excited to be out on the road again. Firstly, as this is our first tour for 18 months we’ve got loads of new tracks to play, plus a couple of cheeky surprises plus all the hits we know you want to hear.

“We really can’t wait.”

Scouting For Girls will be performing at the Bristol O2 Academy on October 16. Doors open at 7pm and tickets, priced £20, are available from the box office on 08444 772000.
