Rising indie star She Drew The Gun will pay a visit to Bristol in April to coincide with the release of her debut album.
The artist, whose real name is Louisa Roach, has been compared to Portishead by well-known DJ and radio presenter Edith Bowman, and has also been championed by fellow DJ Steve Lamacq.
Roach began her musical career by performing at open-mic nights and acoustic gigs up and down the country, where she met percussionist Sian Monaghan.
She was then invited in to perform a live session at her local radio station, before performing at a BBC Introducing session at the world-famous Maida Vale studios in London last year.
Her debut album, Memories Of The Future, draws inspiration from Roach’s own experiences and will be released on April 22.
She Drew The Gun will be at The Louisiana, in Wapping Road, Bristol, at 8pm on April 26.
Tickets, priced £7.70, are available online-only from www.thelouisiana.net
