TWELVE years ago garage collective So Solid Crew scored a hit with number one single 21 Seconds, and they will be looking to bring the house down at a Weston venue on Saturday.

The London group are performing at Club Vision in Richmond Street alongside another well-known name from the UK garage scene, Oxide And Neutrino.

So Solid Crew shot to fame in 2001 and had a string of hit singles, including Oh No (Sentimental Things), They Don’t Know and Haters.

Members of the group, which has featured up to 30 alumni during its history, has made appearances on television show such as The Games, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Big Brother’s Big Mouth, but have not released a studio album since 2003.

DJ and MC duo Oxide And Neutrino – AKA Alex Rivers and Mark Oseitutu, are part of So Solid Crew, but had experienced chart success of their own in 2000 with number one hit Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty).

They returned from a hiatus in 2007 to release their fourth, and to date last, album 2 Prance.
