Songs for Christmas in Bristol

BRISTOL Choral Society will be performing Handel’s Messiah, with the choir and soloists performing the entire work from memory, at the Colston Hall on December 18.

The performance will be conducted by Adrian Partington and accompanied by the Baroque ensemble Music for Awhile, led by the distinguished violinist Margaret Faultless.

Further drama and passion will be provided by the soloists, Nicki Kennedy (soprano), Carolyn Dobbin (mezzo-soprano), James Geer (tenor) and Alexander Robin Baker (bass).

Tickets, priced £9-21, are available at a special price of £5 for those aged under age 25, from 0117 965 7822.
