A BAND replicating the legendary sounds of The Eagles will swoop into Weston's Playhouse Theatre next month.
Talon will bring their hit show to the theatre on November 3 at 7.30pm, and get their claws into all of the American chart-toppers’ biggest hits.
The Eagles were just as popular in the UK as they were in the United States during their 1970s heyday, with songs such as Hotel California and Lying Eyes seeing chart success either side of the Atlantic.
West Country act Talon will relive the night in Melbourne in November 2004 when The Eagles opened their best-selling Farewell 1 tour with tracks such as Take It Easy, Desperado, Take It To The Limit and Life In The Fast Lane.
The five-piece band will recreate the five-part harmonies and exact musical production of that performance, with some virtuoso guitar playing thrown in for good measure.
Now in their 14th year together, Talon are recognised throughout the industry as the definitive Eagles tribute show, and their ability to go from strength to strength in delivering bigger and better shows year on year continues with what promises to be an event.
Tickets, priced £15.50 - £17.50, are available from the box office on 01934 645544 or via www.theplayhouse.co.uk
