The 1975

MANCHESTER art-pop quartet The 1975 will be performing at the O2 Academy in Bristol to coincide with the release of their debut album.

The band has released three acclaimed EPs and their songs have had over 1.5million plays on Soundcloud.

They originally formed as a punk band while still at school, but their current sound veers between brooding art rock, electronica, dancefloor R&B, hip-hop and 80s gloss pop.

Their album, which is released on September 9, has been co-produced with Arctic Monkeys collaborator Mike Crossey and the band are looking to cement their place as the breakthrough band of the year.

The 1975 are performing at the O2 Academy, Bristol, on September 26 with doors opening from 7pm.

Tickets, priced £12.37, are available by calling the box office on 08444 772000 or online at
