Brighton quintet The RPMs will perform in Bristol this summer.

The group, who released their debut EP in 2016, say their sound has moved in a more ambitious direction since they expanded to add Ollie Summers on lead guitar.

Their records have been produced by Gethin Pearson, who has worked with the likes of Charli XCX.

The band said: “We’ve skipped off down the rabbit hole more and more lately with our sound evolving into tunes that you can dance to, and drink to.”

The RPMs are touring extensively throughout 2018 to support their third indie pop song Let Things Happen, which carries a message to start again.

The RPMs will perform at The Mothers Ruin, in St Nicholas Street, on July 6, hosted by indie night This Feeling.

It will start at 7.30pm, and tickets, priced £6.60, are available from
