An Elvis Presley show in Weston-super-Mare will celebrate the 1968 Comeback Special.
This Is Elvis, presented by Laurie Mansfield and Bill Kenwright, will take audiences back to Presley’s TV special, which re-established him as the entertainment star of the decade.
Twelve months later, Presley starred at the International Hotel in Vegas, performing live for the first time in seven years, and securing his place in history as the king of rock and roll.
This Is Elvis recreates the drama leading up to his comeback, as well as staging the concert itself.
It features some of his greatest hits, including Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes and Love Me Tender.
This Is Elvis will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, on March 5-10 at 7.30pm.
There will also be 2.30pm afternoon matinees on March 7 and 10.
Tickets, priced £28-33.50, are available from www.theplayhouse.co.uk or 01934 645544.
