MEMBERS of a young Weston band will be jetting off to America next week to work with a top record producer.Musicians with Sliced Peach, will travel to Los Angeles on July 10 to join forces with Busted and Son of Dork producer Michael Raphael.Michael has invited Leigh North, Drew Wale, Dominic Stone and Ed Harris to record their debut record in his studio.The band members will be in America for six weeks when they also hope to perform in front of US audiences.So far Sliced Peach has recorded an EP in London at Animal Farm Studios and now the group is looking forward to moving on to the next stage on the musical ladder.Vocalist and lead guitarist Drew, aged 20, said: "This is the big one and we're really excited. We've worked hard in the last year but it is all paying off now."The last six months have been exciting and the trip to Los Angeles is definitely the icing on the cake."James from Busted has even emailed the band to say he liked our music." The band was started up two years ago with Drew, who grew up in Worle, and Leigh from Congresbury. Then the duo went on to recruit Dom who lives in Weston and Ed from Wrington.
