A SOLOIST will add something special to a church service next month.

Congresbury soprano Elizabeth Glen will entertain audiences for the harvest home event at Wick St Lawrence Church on August 6 at 11am.

The service precedes the huge festivities for the event in the village.

Elizabeth will be singing four beautiful and popular songs, the ever popular Handel’s Largo, Bach’s beautiful piece Sheep May Safely Graze, Canteloube’s Bailero and a song made famous by Katherine Jenkyns; Rejoice.

Elizabeth has performed as a soloist for the BBC Proms, as well as on Classic FM, Radio 3 and various international radio stations.

She has sung in concerts throughout the world.
