A VARIETY of Weston's finest young musicians will be showcased at an event in the town this weekend.

The Acoustic Showcase has been organised by musician James Bennett, and is being held at Ammos Greek Restaurant on Sunday, with future events set to take place on every second Sunday.

The acts will be paid professional rates to play their own songs, while they will also receive promotional material, live audio and video of the performances and a photo shoot with photographer Pete Brownett of eMotions studio.

The acts playing this weekend are folk singer-songwriter Joanne Mintern who played at this year’s Glastonbury festival, Lenny Savage who recently toured the USA, 15-year-old singer Marissa May, upcoming guitarist and singer Luke Potter, soulful solo artist Harrisen Larner-Main and gifted guitarist Luke Clarke.

If you are interested in taking part in one of the events, or can offer help and free services, contact James at www.james-bennett.com
