Weston to be rocked by festival

AN EXCITING music and arts festival is set to rock Weston Rugby Club next month.

Freak Events Ltd has organised Weston Rock for the weekend of July 1-3.

With acts, artists and concerts it promises to be a quality, interesting event.

Live local bands will form the core of the event, with them based on the BIG outdoor stage and many other activities taking place on-site throughout the weekend.

The whole family will be catered for, with plenty of fun activities for children, real ales and ciders for the men, while the ladies can relax and enjoy a glass wine, Champagne or Pimm’s.

There will also be barbecues, family activities, street artists and those feeling adventurous can stay and camp for the 

On the Friday night, Johnny Edgar, Lipinski and Bog Trotters will take to the stage, followed by Big Lee and Mikee Freedom, Combyne Arvester, The Fanzine and Reoffender on the Saturday evening.

On Sunday evening AJ, Vanity and Journey Up The Wood will provide the entertainment and throughout the weekend during the day, clubs and groups from around the area will perform.
