ONE of Britain’s most influential punk artists will be coming to the South West later this year.

Wilko Johnson, the legendary former guitarist of the band Dr Feelgood, will start his national tour in Bath in October.

After a successful career with Dr Feelgood’s distinctive mid-1970s sound, he went on to play guitar for Ian Dury and the Blockheads.

His current tour, on the back of his autobiography Looking Back At Me, will feature current Blockhead members Norman Watt-Roy and Dylan Howe. Wilko will also be joined on tour by Virgil and the Accelerators.

The tour gets underway at the Bath Komedia on October 11.

Tickets, priced £17.50, are available on 0844 4780898 or online at www.eventim.co.uk
