THIS year commemorates more than 30 years since the death of Billy Fury, but his music has not been forgotten thanks to the best Fury since Fury himself.

And the tribute act will bring the show The Billy Fury Years back to The Playhouse this month.

Billy Fury equalled The Beatles’ 24 chart hits, and accumulated 332 weeks in the UK top 40. In tribute to this amazing performer, Michael King, who portrayed the role of Billy in the Buddy Holly 50th Anniversary Tour, produced and performed to UK audiences last year in a show that relived The Billy Fury Years.

Due to the success, Michael decided to produce a brand new show packed with all the timeless hits including Jealousy I Will, In Thoughts Of You and Halfway to Paradise.

The Billy Fury Years will be at the theatre on June 28 at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £17.50-18.50, are available from the box office on 01934 645544 or via
