If you are looking for an evening of American charm – and perhaps a delicious hog roast dinner, then we have the competition for you.

Weston’s Grand Pier is hosting a Hoedown evening next Saturday – and you have the chance to win free tickets with the Mercury, as we have teamed up with the Grand Pier for this exciting competition.

The evening will give you a chance to dance the night away to the Blazing Saddles, who will perform alongside Miss Dixie for the full cowboy experience.

There will be plenty of cider on offer and even bales of hay for you to relax on.

The Hoedown will be at the Grand Pier on July 1 at 8pm

Tickets, priced £22.50, including a hog dinner, are available from the pier’s website.

For the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show, which includes dinner, answer the following question: Who is performing alongside Blazing Saddles?

To enter the competition, answer the question below.

Or, send your answer to the questions, along with your name, address and telephone number to The The Hoedown Competition, Weston, Worle and Somerset Mercury, 32 Waterloo Street, Weston-super-Mare by 10am on June 27.

Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final.
