VOCALIST Joe Longthorne will be entertaining at The Playhouse this month - and you could win tickets to the already-sold-out show.
His repertoire of voices includes hundreds of the world’s top singers.
He is perhaps best-known for his impersonation of Shirley Bassey who once said: “Joe can do me better than I can do myself.”
He began his career three decades ago with appearances on Junior Showtime before his big break came in 1981 on Search For A Star.
During his career, he has performed at the London Palladium with Bob Hope, enjoyed sell-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and received gold and platinum discs for his albums.
He will be at The Playhouse on August 28 at 7.30pm.
The Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse to offer three pairs of tickets to the show.
To enter the competition all you have to do is answer this question: Which singer said Joe could perform her better than she could do herself?
Send your answer, plus your name, address, email address and a daytime telephone number, to Joe Longthorne competition, Weston, Worle & Somerset Mercury, 32 Waterloo Street, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1LW by 9am on August 15.
