The Lipinski Band will play some of the greatest music from the 1960s during a headline set at The Gardens Festival next month.

Following on from the success of The Beatles V The Rolling Stones' gig last year, the band are returning to the Winter Gardens on June 1 to present The Summer of Love.

To celebrate 50 years since the end of the 1960s, the band will play hit after hit from arguably the best decade in popular music during the headline slot on the final night.

The band will pay tribute to the mods, rockers and psychedelia music from some of the greatest songwriters in history.

The Gardens Festival runs from May 31 to June 1 and boasts an exciting line-up of original music featuring live sets from Tenpenny Fools, Eastertown and Weeds who are all performing songs from their latest records on the second day.

On May 31, the festival opens with FAB 208 - a glam rock extravaganza playing anthems from the 1970s.

The support headline is Rebel Heroes - one of the best David Bowie tributes in the UK who will perform some of the music legend's greatest hits.

Gimme Some Lovin' will have audiences dancing into the night during their two-hour headline slot on May 31, featuring soul, Motown and classic music from the 1960s and 70s.

The music festival runs from 7.30pm until midnight on May 31 and from 2pm on June 1 until 2am.

Day and weekend tickets are available, priced £10.50-20, and can be purchased at
