A FORMER X Factor winner will be performing live in Weston next spring.

With millions tuning into the 10th series on ITV every week, tickets to see 2009 winner Joe McElderry at The Playhouse have gone on sale.

The 22-year-old beat off stiff competition from Olly Murs to be crowned winner four years ago and will bring his unquestionable musical talent to Weston on April 4.

His debut single The Climb went straight to number one but he famously lost out to Rage Against The Machine in the battle for the coveted top spot at Christmas. Two years ago he won Pop Star To Opera Star and his incredible repertoire will be clear for all to see during his Set Your Soul Alive tour next year.

Joe’s love of rock, classical and pop music will make for an unforgettable night at The Playhouse on April 4 as he shows why he has notched up more than two million worldwide record sales.

Tickets for the show, priced £15-19.50, are available from the box office on 01934 645544 or online at www.theplayhouse.co.uk.
