DANCERS from The Russian Classical Ballet Theatre will be staging two traditional favourites in Bristol next month.At the Hippodrome from February 5-10, the spectacular ballet Swan Lake will be performed using the original choreography by Marius Petipa. Classically staged, it is set against enchanting German fairytale castles, dense forests and moonlit lakes.Featuring Tchaikovsky's hauntingly beautiful music, the romantic tragedy is regarded as a classical ballet suitable for all ages.Coppelia, a love story full of wonderful characters and humour, tells the tale of an eccentric toy maker and his amazing creations, which include a magical lifelike doll.
