Theatre company Kneehigh will present its legendary show which audiences around the world fell in love with and Bristol's own Tristan Sturrock will return to the title role he made his own.

Tristan & Yseult is a story of forbidden desires and the agony of choosing one human being over another.

Written by Anna Marie Murphy and Carl Grose,
Kneehigh’s five star show breathes new life into the legend, and brings this oldest and most
passionate of Cornish tales crashing into the here and now.

Several of the original cast are returning, including Mike Shepherd the founder and co-artistic director of Kneehigh, as he reprises his role as the Cornish King Mark.

Tristan & Yseult will be at the
theatre from July 3-20 at 7.30pm. There will also be 2.30pm matinees on July 6, 11, 13, 18 and July 20.

Tickets, priced £5-30, are available from the box office on 01179
