Get ready to laugh your pants off, when a children’s bestseller takes to the stage in Weston on the latest stop in its successful nationwide tour.

Family favourite Aliens Love Underpants is headlining The Playhouse, in High Street, this weekend – and will be running multiple performances across Saturday and Sunday.

The show tells the story of a gang of sneaky, thieving aliens who make their way to Earth, not to visit uncharted territories and us earthlings, or even in an effort to take over the world; instead, they are on a quest to steal underpants.

It is totally outrageous, completely bizarre, but irresistibly funny as the
gang of aliens raid washing lines and laundry baskets to find the funkiest pair of
pants to take back across
the galaxies.

The show features a range of space-age special effects and original music which is sure
to keep the family entertained.

The show is based on the much-loved book written by Claire Freedman, which was an instant hit thanks to a host of rave reviews.

This hilarious book transfers brilliantly to the stage, taking the humour and silliness to crowds of giggling children and parents.

The show, adapted for the stage by theatre company Big Wooden Horse, opens on Saturday at 1.30pm followed by a second showing at 3.30pm, while Sunday’s shows start at 11am and 2pm.

Tickets for Aliens Love Underpants are priced £14.50 for singles or £53 for families.
