A WELL-KNOWN face from the world of comedy will appear at The Playhouse, Weston, later this month in a new show.Gordon Peters will take to the stage in A Celebration of Flanders and Swann on June 18.The actor famous for starring in some of the country's most popular sitcoms, including Dad's Army, One Foot in the Grave, Never the Twain, Hi-de-Hi and Are You Being Served, will pay tribute to one of the biggest acts of the 1950s and 1960s.Flanders and Swann were a unique type of act. Michael Flanders was the witty frontman while Donald Swann was referred to by his partner as 'an all round egghead'.The duo's combination of classic songs and improvisation meant they were able to entertain audiences all over the world.
