SEVEN voyages will create seven adventures for Sinbad the sailor this month at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol.Armed with little more than his courage, cunning and faith, the daring hero will encounter many tests of his bravery in The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor. An island on a whale's back, the monstrous old man of the sea, the mighty Rok, man-eating serpents, ogres, cannibals and savage apes from the Isle of Zughb will all try to hinder his journey's progress.Presented by the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, its production promises to bring a bold physical style and a wild theatrical imagination to the fantastic voyages that have thrilled, excited and entertained since their first appearance in the Arabic classic The Thousand and One Nights, over 800 years ago.Tickets for the show, on January 27, are priced £6 and are available from the box office on 01179 020344.
