A folk tale based on a mythical supernatural creature will be performed in Clevedon next month.

Baba’s Song will be at Theatre Shop in Queens Square at 7.30pm on October 4.

The story is based on the Russian tale of Baba Yaga, a ghostly being who appears as a deformed and ferocious looking woman, and the stunning Vasilisa The Beautiful.

Created and performed by Pocket Fluff Productions, the show uses song and physical theatre to follow one woman’s journey into motherhood.

It explores some of the themes around becoming a mother which are rarely discussed and sees Vasilisa head through the forests of the unknown.

The show’s team includes physical theatre performer Kim Heron, musician and actor Jannah Warlow and director Emma Williams.

After the show, there will be a section of music and a Q&A.

It is recommended the show is accessible to people aged 16 and over.

Tickets. priced £8, are available online or calling 03336 663366.
