A multi-award-winning show is in Weston-super-Mare for a five-day run at The Playhouse this week.

Blood Brothers has been at The Playhouse, in High Street, since Tuesday but performances will continue from today (Thursday)
until Saturday.

Written by Willy Russell, the iconic show tells the story of two twins, Mickey and Eddie, who are separated at birth.

Despite being brought up in two different households, the pair are reunited through fate to discover their mother’s disturbing secret.

The show also features a superb musical score featuring hit songs A Bright New Day and Marilyn Monroe.

Blood Brothers has won numerous awards since its debut in the 1980s, including the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical.

Tickets, priced £30-35.50, are available by calling 01934 645544 or online.
