BOLLYWOOD will come to Weston in a charity event to be held tomorrow (Thurs).

The event will be held at Green Baize Sports Bar in North Street from noon to 8.30pm and will feature a Bollywood take on Shakespeare classic Romeo And Juliet.

From noon to 6pm the bar will be home to a desi fair – featuring fine Indian cuisine, henna tattoos, Bollywood-inspired photo shoots, face-painting, jewellery and clothing.

From 7-8.30pm it will then be home to Romeo And Leila: Shakespeare Meets Bollywood.

The performance is a modern interpretation of Shakespeare’s classic with a Bollywood twist.

It tells the tale of an Indian girl and white boy who fall in love, but their families do not approve.

The performance will feature live music and dancing. Tickets for the evening performance are price £2.50-5 and are available on the door.
