The Rocky Horror Show

A SMASH hit rock 'n' roll extravaganza for four decades, The Rocky Horror Show will be doing the time warp again in January for its 40th anniversary tour.

The show tells the story of Brad and his fiancée Janet, two college kids, who meet Dr Frank’n’Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house on their way to meet a professor.

It ends up being a thrill-a-minute adventure they will never forget, with fun, frolics and frivolity, packed with timeless songs and outrageous outfits.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the show is an impressive mix of science fiction, horror, comedy and music.

Even audiences will be encouraged to participate and come along in their craziest fancy dress.

The Rocky Horror Show was first performed in 1973 at the Royal Court Theatre. It was an immediate success and became a smash film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, taking more than $135million at the box office and today remains one of the most played films in cinemas worldwide.

The Rocky Horror Show is coming to The Bristol Hippodrome from January 14-19, 2013. Tickets, priced £10-37, are available by calling 08448 717652 or via
