A Burnham-on-Sea theatre group will give their take on a famous fairytale this winter.

Re:ACT will perform Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs from December 6-8 at the Princess Theatre, in Princess Street, at 7.30pm.

The play tells the story of the fairest of them all, Snow White, and her wicked witch step-mother who is jealous of her beauty.

The witch orders the murder of her innocent stepdaughter, which forces the princess to flee to safety into the forest.

She later discovers Snow White is still alive and hiding in a cottage with seven friendly little miners.

Disguising herself as a hag, the queen brings a poisoned apple to Snow White, who falls into a death-like sleep which can be broken only by a kiss from the prince.

As well as the evening performances, there is an additional 2.30pm matinee show scheduled on December 8.

Tickets, priced £10-11, are available on 01278 784464 or at
