A HALF-TERM treat is in store for families next week. Tall Stories will stage the magical, musical show, The Gruffalo, from Tuesday until June 4 at the Theatre Royal, Bath. Adapted from Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler's award-winning, best-selling book

A HALF-TERM treat is in store for families next week.Tall Stories will stage the magical, musical show, The Gruffalo, from Tuesday until June 4 at the Theatre Royal, Bath.Adapted from Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler's award-winning, best-selling book, it is a tale of a clever mouse in a forest full of predators.Mouse goes into the deep dark wood on an adventurous hunt for hazelnuts. Armed with a map and a vivid imagination, he runs into wheeler-dealer Fox and party-animal Snake.Mouse succeeds in scaring them away with stories of an imaginary monster friend called The Gruffalo.The show is suitable for children aged three and over.Tickets, priced £10-11, are available from the box office on 01225 448844.
