Cinderella at The Playhouse

A BALLET with a glass slipper, a fairy godmother and ugly stepsisters is being performed at The Playhouse on Sunday.


Cinderella is to be danced by the Bristol Russian Ballet School which will be joined by English National Ballet’s lead principal dancers, Elena Glurdjidze and Arionel Vargas.

A whole host of colourful characters join Cinderella on her journey to find her prince, including a group of mice and fairies of the four seasons.

The show has been choreographed by Russia’s Alexander Semenchukov and Yury Demakov, with magical music by Serge Prokofiev.

The traditional tale is brought to life with contemporary elements combined with classical routines.
