SHIPHAM Players will be bringing two new comedy plays to the stage this month.
Two Plays And A Ploughman’s will be presented at Shipham Village Hall in New Road and will give the audience a chance to find out what actually goes on backstage.
The first play - The Last Bread Pudding - sees an amateur drama group meeting to discuss a new play written by one of its members. The second - Easy Stages - has a despairing stage manager trying to organise his dysfunctional stage crew with disastrous effects.
The plays will be on stage from June 14-15 at 7.45pm. Doors open at 7pm.
Tickets for the two plays as well as a ploughman’s dinner, priced £10, are available from Hansford in The Square, Shipham.
