Competition: Death Trap at The Playhouse
PUBLISHED: 08:00 13 June 2013
TV SOAP star Stephen Beckett is taking to The Playhouse's stage to perform in comic murder thriller Death Trap.
Stephen Beckett, who played Mike Jarvis in The Bill and Dr Matt Ramsden in Coronation Street, stars in the play about an unknown playwright who befriends a best-selling novelist.
Sidney is struggling to write his new play and impressed by newcomer Clifford’s efforts, he persuades his wife to help him plagiarise it.
The plan appears fool-proof until Clifford arrives at the house and events take an unexpected and sinister turn.
Death Trap will be at The Playhouse on July 4-6 at 7.30pm, and 2.30pm on the Saturday.
Tickets, priced £12-14.50, are available from the box office on 01934 645544 or online at www.theplayhouse.co.uk
