Cooper shines in Bath show

Charismatic star of stage and screen, Dominic Cooper, is set to wow a Bath audience when he takes on the role of loveable rogue John Wilmot in the classic indecent tale of The Libertine.
Steven Jeffreys’ thrilling drama is set for a West End appearance in the coming months.
This sexually-charged play is set in the 1670s and tells the story of Wilmot – who is the second Earl of Rochester.
He may be talented and charismatic but he also has a destructive appetite for excess.
But could that all be about to change when he meets the charming, but headstrong, Elizabeth?
The Libertine will be at Theatre Royal in Sawclose, Bath, from August 31 to September 17. Performances will take place from Monday to Saturday each week at 7.30pm.
