We're Going On A Bear Hunt.

Go on a bear hunt during a fun-filled adaptation of Michael Rosen's award-winning book at The Playhouse in Weston-super-Mare.

The much-loved story We’re Going On A Bear Hunt is being brought vividly and noisily to the stage in director Sally Cookson’s adaptation.

The theatrical adventure has been a West End hit, and it has toured around the world.

Audiences can join an intrepid family of adventurers and their musical dog on their quest to find a bear.

They wade through gigantic swishy-swashy grass, the splishy-splashy river and the thick, oozy squelchy mud in search of a bear.

Expect catchy songs, interactive schemes and plenty of hands-on fun in this adventure.

Benji Bower, who has composed music for the National Theatre and numerous films and TV shows, wrote the score.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, published in 1989, is author Michael Rosen’s biggest success, and has sold millions of copies and been turned into a film.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, on March 10 at 1.30pm and 4.30pm, and March 11 at 10.30am and 1.30pm.

Tickets, priced £13, are available from 01934 645544 or
