Former X Factor winner Joe McElderry is set to wow Weston’s Playhouse with his renditions of the biggest and best songs from some of the most iconic film soundtracks.

Since winning the X Factor in 2009, McElderry has enjoyed a successful career and has been back in the studio recording his fifth album Saturday Night At The Movies.

Fresh from the studio he will perform some of his favourite songs live, and you could win tickets thanks to our competition.

The album includes I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing from Armageddon, Can’t Help Falling In Love from Blue Hawaii and Love Is All Around from Four Weddings and a Funeral.

There are also tracks from some of McElderry’s favourite musicals, so you can expect a fun-filled evening where you can sing along with the 26-year-old.

But the singing sensation will not be alone and will welcome some of his talented friends onto the stage with him.

Keith Jack and Ben James-Ellis, who were both runners-up on the talent show Any Dream Will Do, will belt out some of the most popular tunes, and there will even be songs from the musical Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, which McElderry also starred in.

As well as this, another former X Factor star will be joining the party, as 23-year-old Sam Callahan showcases his talent, having appeared on the show four years ago.

Joe McElderry: Saturday Night At The Movies Live will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, on August 17 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced, £27.50-£43.50, are available by calling 01934 645544 or online via
