PANTO season is well under way, and there are three dramatic treats on the horizon for fans to get their teeth into.

Hutton Drama Club will celebrate its 100th production as its puts on Peter And The Rock Croc this weekend.

The play, written and directed by Wendy Gardiner, is an adaptation of the Peter Pan story.

It will be held at the village hall in Church Lane tomorrow (Fri) and Saturday evening at 7.30pm, and there will be matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.

Also starting tomorrow (Fri), Burnham District Pantomime Society will unveil its production of Sleeping Beauty.

The traditional family favourite by Alan P Frayn will be on at The Princess Hall in Princess Street tomorrow until February 4.

And a wintry fairy tale will be coming to Shipham Village Hall in February, as the Shipham Players present Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen.

The traditional fairy tale, adapted by Suria Magito and Rudolf Weil, will be on at the village hall in New Road on February 3 at 7.30pm, and February 4 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £3-7, are available from Hansford’s butchers shop, The Square.
